The safety of the dogs and groomers always comes first. If we feel the grooming session is no longer safe, we reserve the right to refuse service at any time. I am aware that if my pet(s) does not remain still during the grooming procedure, accidents can happen such as nicks from clippers, cuts from scissors, or cutting the nails too short with the nail trim. We will take all precautions to ensure this does not happen, but sometimes it is out of our control.
Customers assume all liabilities, financial and otherwise, for the behavior and health of their pet(s). In consideration of the services rendered by the Dog Spaw, customers waive any and all claims, actions or demands of any nature's, foreseen or unforeseen, against the Dog Spaw, relating to the care, control, health, and/or safety of customer's pets arising during services performed by the Dog Spaw.
RABIES: Washington State requires all pets to be vaccinated against rabies. We need the expiration date of your pet(s) rabies shot before we can groom her/him.
FLEAS: If your dog has fleas, a flea shampoo/product will be used and an additional charge will be rendered.
SHAVE DOWNS & HAIRCUTS: Shave downs or custom cuts that are outside the normal specific breed haircuts will be discussed and the groomer will perform the cuts to the best of his/her understanding of the client's directions, but no other guarantee is made. Shaving of your pet may dramatically change your pet's appearance.
COMPLETION OF GROOMS: If you are unhappy with the haircut, please notify us upon pick up. We do understand that some pets may be hard to examine upon pick up due to excitement from the pet(s). If this is the case we must be notified no later than 24 hours after the groom. We will not touch up or adjust a haircut after that time period. We would be more than happy to correct any issues as long as it is within 24 hours.
CANCELLATIONS: a courtesy reminder email or text will be sent up to 48 hours prior to your appointment time. An email address or phone number is required. Dog Spaw, must be notified at least 24 hours prior to the schedule appointment of any cancellations. Leaving a message on the business voice mail is sufficient. This allows us time to try book a replacement appointment. The client may be terminated for repeated cancellations.
LATE OR "NO SHOWS": If unforeseen circumstances cause you to be late, you must call and make arrangements for an emergency contact to pick up the pet(s). Pets are expected to be picked up by the time given by groomer that your pet(s) will be ready. A late fee might be applied if pick up late.
Late drop off causes the entire schedule of the day to be pushed back. Please respect other people's appointment times and be on time for your appointment.
